For the organic farmer, the welfare of the animals comes first. The animals are outside in our Dutch landscape for as long as possible. Walking outside is good for animals. They then have plenty of room for their natural behaviour, such as grazing, chewing the cud and resting while lying in the grass. A wide variety of meadow flowers, herbs and clovers can be found in the pasture of the organic farmer, because the farmer does not use chemical-synthetic pesticides and fertilizers. All these elements make an organic cheese so special and you can taste it in the taste of the cheese.
